‍ ‍ Executive Board Structure

The FNAQ Executive Board is responsible for the strategic oversight, financial governance, and

operational leadership of the organization.

The Board comprises the following key leadership positions:

Primary Officers

  • President

    • Serves as the chief executive officer; presides over all meetings and sets the strategic vision.

  • Vice President

    • Supports the President in all duties and assumes leadership in their absence.

  • Secretary

    • Maintains official records, manages correspondence, and ensures accurate documentation of board proceedings.

  • Treasurer

    ○ Oversees financial planning, budgeting, and fiscal reporting to ensure the organization's stability.

  • Auditor

    Ensure financial integrity, accuracy, and transparency; work with President and Treasurer

Functional Directors

  • Director of Constitution and By-Laws, Ethics and Standards of Nursing Practice

○ Oversees the regular review and amendment of organizational bylaws to ensure

governance compliance.

  • Director of Public Relations, Communications & Graphics

    • Manages public relations, branding, and internal member outreach.

  • Director of Membership

    • Focuses on recruitment, retention, and enhancing the member experience.

  • Director of Finance & Fundraising

    • Focuses on external funding to support FNAQ’s community and professional programs. Leads the planning and execution of all organizational fundraising campaigns and events.

  • Director (s) of Education & Professional Development

    • Coordinates training, certifications, and educational initiatives

  • Ex-Officio

    Offers high-level guidance, mentorship, and continuity to support the board's strategic objectives
